Suokko also tossed no walks, which is notable because Westosha Central is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-9 otherwise. Suokko was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Everett Lucero was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Max Nottingham was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
