Last Friday, Christ Chapel Academy came up short against Immanuel Christian and fell 67-56.
Christ Chapel Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of David Neaves, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Sean Michael Robinson who scored 15 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Robinson scored 15 or more points. Alie Bangura was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three blocks and two steals.
Meanwhile, Seton stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by The Covenant on the road to the tune of 78-36. The victory was nothing new for Seton as they're now sitting on three straight.
Christ Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.
Christ Chapel Academy was dealt a bruising 68-25 defeat at the hands of Seton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Christ Chapel Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
