The Washington Prexies had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Propel Braddock Hills at home to the tune of 76-27. Washington's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Propel Braddock Hills lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elijah Toole-Fowler, who scored two points along with nine blocks and six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Toole-Fowler posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kato Hill, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Washington's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Propel Braddock Hills, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will square off against Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Propel Braddock Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Winchester Thurston at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
