The Arts Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Joseph Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Arts didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Pirates, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. Given Arts' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Pirates are ranked 124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even though St. Thomas Aquinas scored an imposing 79 points on Tuesday, St. Joseph still came out on top. St. Joseph skirted past the Trojans 82-79.
Arts is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
