Jordan Mason put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Moore, who scored ten points.
Washington Leadership Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for DC International, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Washington Leadership Academy haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 2.7 turnovers per game. However, it's not like DC International struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.6 turnovers per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
