After losing to the Wisdom Generals the last time they met, the Northside Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Northside put the hurt on Wisdom with a sharp 62-39 victory on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside.
It was another big night for keith Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Wilson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jerryus Mathews, who scored 13 points.
Northside's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Wisdom, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Madison the next time they take the court. Northside will host Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Wisdom will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
