Having struggled with four losses in a row, Assumption turned things around against Morgan City on Tuesday. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win.
Lilia Alleman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kynlee Grisaffe and Whitney Diaz did most of the damage at the plate: Grisaffe got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run, while Diaz got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
