It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hill Country Christian School of Austin had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the John Paul II Centurions 54-27. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hill Country Christian School of Austin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haley Milton, who went 6-for-7 to rack up 15 points and three steals. What's more, Milton also posted an 86% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Katie Hoffman, who posted eight points along with ten steals and six assists.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 20 consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why John Paul II lost, don't look at Ella Garcia. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. That was a full 51.9% of John Paul II's points, marking the sixth time in a row Garcia has had more than a third of the team's points.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin's win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for John Paul II, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-14.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin has already played their next contest, a 51-41 victory against Westbury Christian on the 22nd. John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
