Cypress Woods' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Horton, who threw for 108 yards and four touchdowns. Angel Delgado also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Cypress Park's loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.2 points per game. As for Cypress Woods, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
