Ponderosa is 4-0 against West Park since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ponderosa Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the West Park Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Ponderosa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
Even though Davis Sr. scored an imposing 60 points, Ponderosa still came out on top. In a tight match that could have gone either way, Ponderosa made off with a 61-60 win over Davis Sr. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ponderosa.
Ponderosa's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lake Liebscher, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keenan Patterson, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, West Park strolled past Nevada Union with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 54-38.
Ponderosa now has a winning record of 10-9. As for West Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Ponderosa strolled past West Park in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 68-53. Will Ponderosa repeat their success, or does West Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
