The Randolph-Henry Statesmen will be playing at home against the Nottoway Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randolph-Henry is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
Last Thursday, Randolph-Henry suffered a rough 65-45 loss at the hands of the Knights.
Meanwhile, Nottoway scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Prince Edward County by a score of 79-70. The win was just what Nottoway needed coming off of a 71-48 defeat in their prior matchup.
Nottoway found their leader in underclassman Anton Carter Jr., who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carter Jr. has scored all season. Another player making a difference was D'aunte Watson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.
Randolph-Henry's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Nottoway, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Randolph-Henry skirted past the Cougars 62-60 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Nottoway's Kendreyeus Johnson, who scored 28 points along with six steals.
