The Meeteetse Longhorns entered their tilt with the Riverside Rebels with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Meeteetse snuck past Riverside with a 56-52 win on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Meeteetse also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Meeteetse's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Salzman, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salzman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jason Moody, who scored nine points along with 17 rebounds and two steals.
Meeteetse pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Riverside, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Coincidentally, Meeteetse and Riverside will both be playing Ten Sleep the next time they take the court. Meeteetse will head out to face Ten Sleep on Friday, while Riverside will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
