Rowe and Palmview are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Warriors will take on the Lobos on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Rowe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Rivera 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on six straight.

Alex Leon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Rowe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Visney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That's the most hits Visney has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, Palmview had just enough and edged out Flour Bluff 6-4 on Saturday.
Palmview also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Osi Lopez gave up only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits.
At the plate, Palmview let Javier Garza and Joseph Martinez run wild. Garza went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Martinez went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Gutierrez, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Rowe's victory bumped their record up to 22-10-2. As for Palmview, their win bumped their record up to 24-7-2.
Saturday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rowe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. However, it's not like Palmview struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Rowe's way against Palmview when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Rowe made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
