The Clearview Clippers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Open Door Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Clearview still got an impressive performance from Keith Colvin, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Colvin has scored all season. Jai Walton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Clearview's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-8. As for Open Door Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Clearview will square off against Brookside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Clearview in Ohio (Brookside is ranked 332nd, while Clearview is ranked 692nd). As for Open Door Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Benedictine at 7:00 p.m.
