The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Rebels 3-2 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won three in a row.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Andrew Jackson Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 15-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-4.

Andrew Jackson Academy relied on the efforts of McKinnley Beard, who had 24 kills, six digs, four aces, and one block, and Bella Carrigg, who had 44 assists and three aces. Beard has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 37 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harlo Sease, who had ten kills, three digs, and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Andrew Jackson Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Cross got the win against Beaufort Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.
