After four games on the road, Daphne is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Pace Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Daphne pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Theodore by a score of 58-56. While losing is never fun, Daphne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Theodore is ranked 82nd).
Meanwhile, Pace lost to Crestview on the road by a decisive 52-38 margin on Tuesday. Pace has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Daphne bumped their record down to 4-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pace, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
