The Woodlawn Warriors's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They strolled past Lansdowne with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. This was payback for Woodlawn, who suffered a 41-39 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Woodlawn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaelyn House out in front who scored 14 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which House has scored at least 25% of Woodlawn's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Gaither, who scored 11 points.
Woodlawn pushed their record up to 5-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Lansdowne, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Coincidentally, Woodlawn and Lansdowne will both be playing Loch Raven the next time they take the court. Woodlawn will head out to face Loch Raven at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lansdowne will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
