The Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Sunday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kansas School for the Deaf 61-28 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Marie Philip sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Leading Marie Philip to victory were Xavier DeLeon and Jeremy Novas. DeLeon scored 22 points along with eight steals, while Novas dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Novas has scored all season.
Marie Philip's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Marie Philip will be playing at home against Waring at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to square off against Ozanam at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
