Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 56-26 blowout they got on the road against Oneonta. The victory was nothing new for Locust Fork as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Faith Evans continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The match was her 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hope Evans, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Locust Fork's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Oneonta, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
Locust Fork will be playing in front of their home fans against Cold Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oneonta, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
