North Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rogers Pirates a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 back in March.

North Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matches. As for Rogers, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
