Kenwood hasn't had much luck against Clarksville Academy recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Kenwood Knights are taking a road trip to  challenge the Clarksville Academy Cougars  at 6:00  p.m.
 Kenwood and Riverdale met for a duel  last Thursday where Kenwood had to take the L. Kenwood took  a  54-35 bruising from Riverdale. The Knights were down  27-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Yazmine Pearson, who  scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sarai Townsend, who  posted nine points.
 Meanwhile, Clarksville Academy put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past West Creek 77-20. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Clarksville Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Anna Hellums out in front who  went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points plus three  steals and three  blocks. Hellums is  crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.  Sicily Robinson Ellington was another key player,  scoring ten points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 Clarksville Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in six consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Clarksville Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
 Kenwood was dealt a bruising  60-19 loss at the hands of Clarksville Academy in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kenwood was down  41-8.
