Jack Blakeslee looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 248 yards and three TDs. What's more, he racked up 93.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Kaleb Poole was in the mix too, providing Piedmont with two scores.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Richardson, who threw for 279 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.
The win got Piedmont back to even at 1-1. As for South Stanly, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Piedmont has already played their next contest, a 47-7 victory against East Rowan on the 5th. As for South Stanly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 39-38 win against Anson on the 5th.
