The West Union Eagles are on the road again  on Thursday to play the Ingomar Falcons at 5:00  p.m. West Union is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game this season.
 West Union can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-3 margin over Vardaman. The  victory was just what West Union needed coming off of  a  10-3 defeat in their prior  contest.
  Benton Burks was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jaxon Herod, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Ingomar pushed their score all the way to 12 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Falkner by a score of  13-12. Ingomar has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 West Union's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Ingomar, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
 West Union took their  victory against Ingomar  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023 by a conclusive  15-8. Will West Union repeat their success,  or does  Ingomar have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
