Hand has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. With a playoff game on the line, Hand rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 29-14 victory over the Cadets.
Aidan Dolan was his usual excellent self, rushing for 258 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Dolan is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 55-0 win over Northwest United co-op [Wolcott RVT/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Shepaug Valley/Wamogo]. ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.
Rykeese Saunders continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 64 receiving yards. Saunders' longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Jayvionne Hill, who gained 167 total yards and two touchdowns.
Hand pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.4 points per game. As for ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate], their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
