Plainfield Central had lost four straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Isabella Ricketts didn't let it get to five. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Joliet Central Steelmen on Tuesday for which the team can thank Ricketts, who had 17 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Plainfield Central never let Joliet Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Plainfield Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-22. As for Joliet Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-22.
