While Port Byron put up some  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Weedsport. The Panthers walked away with  a   4-0  victory over the Wolverines. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Weedsport's batters probably weren't too happy with  Jenna Jump, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 14 Ks (she gave up two walks). Those 14  strikeouts set a new season-high mark for  Jump.
 At the plate,  Cameryn Brundage was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Mallory Mills, who  went 1-for-2 with four  stolen bases and one  run.
The  win made it two in a row for Port Byron and  bumps their season record up to 9-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2  run in those games. As for Weedsport, their defeat was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Looking ahead, Port Byron will square off against Bishop Ludden at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Weedsport, they will venture away from home to  take on Tully  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
