Creighton Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Torran Carter-brown out in front who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 5 assists. The game was Carter-brown's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Trinell Parker, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Several Griffins players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carter Craven, who scored 11 points. The matchup was Craven's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Talan Hovie, who scored 15 points.
Gretna East struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The victory makes it two in a row for Creighton Prep and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Gretna East, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
