The Nolensville Knights will challenge the Page Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nolensville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Nolensville had just enough and edged out Brentwood 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Nolensville got a great performance from Anna Dotson as she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, Dotson posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, Nolensville's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Emma Jadwin, who went 1-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
The home team had won the previous two meetings between Page and Independence, and Page kept the tradition alive. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-1.
Ashley Johnson made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Nolensville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-11. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Page, their record is now 15-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Nolensville hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Nolensville couldn't quite get it done against Page in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 7-3. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
