Banning had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Thursday. They blew past the Desert Mirage RAMS 17-3. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-0 victory on Monday.

Sebastian Osornio was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on John Lara III, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Jimenez, who earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Banning kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matches.

Banning pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Mirage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Banning has already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Arrowhead Christian on the 6th. Desert Mirage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
