After losing to Archbold the last time they met, Fairview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Apaches walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Blue Streaks on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Apaches.

While Fairview might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Archbold scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 25-19.

Payshince McDaniel paced Fairview's offense, picking up 17 kills. McDaniel got some help from Kenna Kauffman and her 40 assists. McDaniel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the loss, Archbold had strong showings from Scarlett Brehm, who had nine digs and three aces, and Emersyn Selgo, who had six digs and two assists. Those assists marked the first that Selgo has posted this season.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Archbold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.

Fairview has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Wayne Trace on the 7th. As for Archbold, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Central Catholic on the 4th.
