Grace Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They never let the Carmel Christian Cougars get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.
Carmel Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Luke Roupe, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (he gave up zero walks).
At the plate, Matt Murchison was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will challenge Fayetteville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Cougars coming up.
