The team relied heavily on Mason Hodges, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Joseph Cooper was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Park School made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pallotti on Thursday. The Bruins blew past the Panthers 12-3. Dylan Katz and Jack Rogers did most of the damage at the plate: Katz went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Rogers went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, Katz is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Owen Cyr, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Park School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pallotti only posted an OBP of .367.
St. Frances Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Park School, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal.
