If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Black Hawk. On Friday they take on Shullsburg at 7:00 PM. Shullsburg will need to watch out since Black Hawk have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Black Hawk made easy work of Highland last Friday and carried off a 36-12 win. Senior Colby Argall, who rushed for 293 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Black Hawk's success.
Meanwhile, Shullsburg took an ego-bruising loss against Pecatonica/Argyle two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Shullsburg took their game against Hillsboro 20-6.
Everything came up roses for Black Hawk against Shullsburg the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 58-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Black Hawk since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
