They enjoyed a cozy 57-38 victory over Marcos de Niza. That result was just more of the same for these two, as McClintock also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
McClintock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh McManaway , who scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds. The game was McManaway 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Frye, who scored 15 points.
Marcos de Niza's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being James Steward, who scored 6 points along with 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Steward is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jamari Johnson, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
McClintock's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Marcos de Niza, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
McClintock and North Canyon will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (North Canyon is ranked 94th, while McClintock is ranked 74th).
