Bellevue came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eastwood Eagles by a score of 65-55. That's more bragging rights for the Redmen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bellevue's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Eastwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Bellevue and Eastwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Redmen will face off against Norwalk at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (133 vs. 682). Meanwhile, Eastwood (ranked 234th) will meet Elmwood (ranked 676th) at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
