The South Bend Adams Eagles were the 47-43 winner over the Bremen Lions when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. South Bend Adams received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 66-51 to Bremen.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eliana Grubbs, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Grubbs continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's played. Kila Foster was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with four steals and two blocks.
South Bend Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Bremen, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
South Bend Adams' road trip will continue as they head out to face Laporte at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Bremen, they will face off against Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Glenn is ranked 185th, while Bremen is ranked 204th).
