Trinity Christian (Dublin, Ga.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 21-0 win over
Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, Ga.).
The Crusaders put up seven points in the opening frame. Trinity Christian scored on a touchdown catch by
Whiatt Smith.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Smith in the first quarter, TC was up 14-0 at the half.
The Dublin school came into the game allowing 13.0 points per game.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Crusaders, who lost to Burke Academy last week, 14-12. The loss comes after Briarwood Academy defeated Windsor Academy 49-22 last week. The loss ended Briarwood Academy's two-game winning streak.
