The Rutland Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season. They really took it to Brattleboro for the full four quarters, racking up a 82-54 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rutland.
Brattleboro's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karson Elliott, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. John Satterfield was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Rutland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Brattleboro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
