The Ben Lomond Scots suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 78-56 loss at the hands of Ogden. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Wednesday (55), Ben Lomond still had to take the loss.
Ben Lomond's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jake East, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Jonathan Alcarez who scored 11 points along with three blocks. Alcarez hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games.
Ben Lomond has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Ogden, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ben Lomond will take on Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece. As for Ogden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
