Rashad Dockery Goes Supernova in South View Win
Starting off the list is South View's Rashad Dockery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dockery rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
The victory was the third in a row for South View, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Dockery and South View will head out to face off against Gray's Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Reed Came Up Big in Gray's Creek's 28-24 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ezekiel Reed stepped things up a notch to give Gray's Creek the 'W'. Lumberton had no answer to Reed as he rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Reed must have Lumberton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Reed rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in October of 2023.

Donavan Frederick and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Donavan Frederick was instrumental in extending Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Frederick was dynamite, rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Seventy-First's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Frederick will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Purnell Swett on Friday.

Deandre Nance Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Seventy-First picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deandre Nance. Nance showed up in a big way, rushing for 113 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.1) per game.
If the past is any indication, Nance could be in store for another big game when he takes on Purnell Swett on Friday. Nance rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Bryan Charles Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bryan Charles produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cape Fear to the win on Friday. Charles picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Charles is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Jack Britt on Friday. When Charles last faced the Buccaneers back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
