Sacred Heart Academy took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 72-28 victory over Moses Brown.
Despite the loss, Moses Brown saw an underclassman step up: Lauren Bousquet dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaelynn Perez, who scored six points.
Sacred Heart Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.44 points. As for Moses Brown, their defeat ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
