Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 58-32 walloping at the hands of the Warriors on Wednesday. Evergreen Lutheran's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosspoint to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaylee Ajanovic, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. It was the first time this season that Ajanovic scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Momoyo Iwata, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Evergreen Lutheran's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for Crosspoint, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2.
Evergreen Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crosspoint also has no future games currently scheduled.
