The Mojave Rattlers will square off against the Valley Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Mojave, who comes in off a win.
Mojave made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Durango, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Mojave never let Durango get on the board and left with a 16-0 win last Friday. The Rattlers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Emiko-Lin Kalani made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
