Big Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 67-53 bruising from the Thief River Falls Prowlers. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Big Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Thief River Falls, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
