Ashley Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dianna Blake out in front who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds. The matchup was Blake's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylin Brown, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Ashley Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Stall, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashley Ridge will play host again and welcome Fort Dorchester, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Fort Dorchester is ranked 57th, while Ashley Ridge is ranked 56th). As for Stall, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Ashley at 7:00 p.m. West Ashley and Stall are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
