Cohasset had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Northbridge Rams on Saturday as they made off with a 35-15 victory. Considering the Skippers have won seven matchups by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cohasset had a senior duo take command as Gus Greene rushed for 224 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry and Michael Wildfire rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Greene has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Cohasset's run defense was locked in: Northbridge could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. While one picked up at least three total tackles, Wildfire stood above the rest. He rushed for 94 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and also threw for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Cohasset didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged eight.

Cohasset's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Daniel Baker, Michael Owens, and Ronan Kearney, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kevin Dimuzio, who picked up 123 receiving yards and one score.

The win (which was Cohasset's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points over those games. As for Northbridge, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.
