On Friday Dexter take on Cushing Academy at 7:00 PM. Dexter aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
Dexter took care of business in their home opener. They made easy work of Hebron Academy last Saturday and carried off a 42-12 victory.
Meanwhile, Cushing Academy had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-40 walloping at Kingswood Oxford's hands.
Dexter's win lifted them to 1-0 while Cushing Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Dexter's success rolls on or if Cushing Academy are able to steal their positive momentum.
