Hailey Brewster was on fire: she scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jacqui Wilson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Poudre is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Brighton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Poudre won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Hopefully Fairview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. As for Brighton, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Collins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Fort Collins' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Brighton has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
