West Haven is 2-7 against Cheshire since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Devils will square off against the Rams at 4:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
West Haven gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Foran 10-3.
Brady Price made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Price was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Evan Jones was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Colin Murray was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
West Haven hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Cheshire got the win against East Haven on Friday by a conclusive 12-5. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Cheshire got a massive performance out of Bennett Crerar, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Enders, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs.
Cheshire's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Haven, their record now sits at 12-9.
