Interstate 35 waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Earlham Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 on Monday.

Interstate 35's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Earlham, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Interstate 35 will take on Des Moines Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Earlham, they will venture away from home to challenge Van Meter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
